Testimonial from Collective Member Rafael de Toledo Pedroso

“Grimalkin helped me when I needed it most. They supported my two duos (Pedroso & Pedrosa and A/C Repair School) with our first physical releases ever, and as an independent Brazilian artist to get the support, help and care of a label overseas was huge and it meant a lot to me and my collaborators. I previously never got the supportive treatment offered by Grimalkin from any other label. The communication is amazing and you always know where you stand and what is going to happen. It is a joy to watch Grimalkin work and help so many people. With our Pedroso & Pedrosa release we were able to donate the tape profits to the National Agency of Favelas (ANF) of Rio de Janeiro, an organization that needs a lot of help. To be able to get support to the community in our country is something so valuable that gives even more meaning to the music. Grimalkin really goes beyond music. When I was in an extremely vulnerable situation and almost lost a place to live, Grimalkin fundraised for me and helped me out and their mutual aid fund really helped me. Now that I am happy to be in a better situation, Grimalkin helps me by doing fundraisers for other people in need of mutual aid in Brazil! I am really proud of being a member of the collective and watching it grow stronger every day.”
